More Ohio Innovators I Forgot

Ok. I knew that I would miss a few people as soon as I published yesterday's post. This wasn't intentional, and I'd love for you to have a chance to follow and dialog with all of the people making a difference in our Ohio communities.

Here it goes:

  • I mentioned Dan Harris and his baby, TasteCasting, but I forgot the link love. Dan's links are live now. If you work for a restaurant, own a restaurant or even are just an avid foodie, start a conversation with Dan. Seriously. You can also connect with Ryan Bauer who does some work on TasteCasting with Dan.
  • Jim Canterucci is an innovator who can teach you how to find your Personal Brilliance. He's a good friend and mentor, a good author and presenter, and top notch thinker.
  • I completely forgot about my friends Patrick Murphy and Kevin Dwinnell at BrandThunder (sorry guys). These Columbus innovators have developed a way to bring branded content right to a customized browser. They are gaining some serious traction with publications, as well as a whole mess of national sports teams and entertainers. Really cool stuff.
  • Fathi Said (who was born in Austria and has been a technology entrepreneur since he was 16) and Ray Taylor are doing some really amazing things with their idea to reposition the web hosting delivery model. They gave me my first tour of a super energy efficient server farm last week.
  • Mark Crase, a friend of mine based out of Cleveland, has been using Twitter to build connections to launch his idea on a new kind of web-based printing fulfillment service. It's working, and Mark is building relationships like wildfire.

Again, keep following and listening to these folks. Ask them questions and share them with your own social circles. Why? Because these people are working hard to drive change that will benefit all of us.

Innovation requires collaboration.

So the question remains...

Are you willing to pitch in your own social influence to help these Ohio innovators find and connect with more relationships that will lead to opportunities?

I am. I hope you are too.
