Social Restaurant Podcast is an audio production of NR Media Group that attracts a substantial, niche-focused listener base of restaurant industry executives. Each episode dives into the hottest topics and trends currently impacting the restaurant industry.
The show’s loyal fan base, between 200-300 listeners, returns weekly to hear interviews with top industry executives, chefs and purveyors to hear their opinions on the latest trends in food service, franchising and hospitality.
NR Media Group launched the Social Restaurant Podcast in March of 2013 with the goal of raising awareness for the agency, supporting business development efforts and generating paid media revenue that could be used to supplement the firms marketing budget. To achieve these, a target baseline metric was set to have the production downloaded by 8000 listeners across 50 weekly episodes. To support this goal, the following tactics were employed:
A set of materials including research reports, one-sheet interview preparations, show scripts and flow documents we produced in order to streamline the guest preparation process. A list of target industry leaders was developed and organized that guide the guest outreach and booking process. Finally, lists of potential show sponsors made up of purveyors and technology vendors was developed, with the sales process being managed and tracked in the NR Media Group CRM.
