NR Media Group’s weekly production of the Social Restaurant Podcast provided an affordable and well-positioned stage for NetBase to raise awareness of their software in the restaurant industry. Recently named a 2014 Content Marketing World award winner in the categories for best podcast series and best podcast episode, the show attracts a large, niche-focused listener base of 200-300 restaurant industry professionals via its syndication across multiple internet radio channels, industry publications and email lists.

NetBase became the presenting sponsor of the show for an initial 6-month paid media campaign. To promote the NetBase brand, NR Media Group engineered a 15-second ad spot to air between podcast breaks for all episodes produced during the duration of the sponsorship. The sponsorship also included live reads during each episode, accompanying online banner advertisements hosted across the show’s digital assets and co branding in the show’s tagline. To support lead generation, NR Media Group worked with NetBase to create “Social Media’s Favorite Restaurants” – an ebook that details the results of a study of the 5 most popular fast casual brands in the national social media conversation. This study was conducted using NetBase’s own social analytics and sentiment analysis software.
